I am a Computer Systems Engineer with over 5 years of experience working as an ESL (English as Second Language) teacher. I have a Master’s Degree in Education and a Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test Certification in modules 1, 2 and 3.

My teaching experience includes working with small (3 to 10 people) groups in private languages schools, as a University English teacher for high school and University students, and personalized one-on-one online lessons. I also work in I.T. and the main language I use at work is English.

The idea of launching this blog came during the pandemic, where schools closed and most private languages schools and independant teachers (including myself) were looking for ways to continue teaching despite the situation.

I love teaching what I know, but since my work in I.T. is demanding, I couldn’t find the time to plan and deliver lessons in a set schedule, or even keep a second job as a teacher, so I decided to open this blog; that way, I will have a chance at sharing what I know and help others in their English learning journey.

I hope that you’ll find this blog interesting as well as useful, and that you get to enjoy your learning process as much as I enjoy developing the content for my blog, and, with your continuous support, this blog grows and its content reach as many people as possible so that we can build a community of English Language Nerds together!
